Interview Results

Ok, I finally got the answers to my emailed interview. My original list was condensed because I realized that I could find out alot of the info on my own.

For example, the equestrian club's purposes are the following:
To provide a forum for the exchange of information about equine species, their characteristics, and care.
To sponsor the Intercollegiate Riding Team (IRT) in its competitive riding schedule during the academic school year.
To allow interested students to organize, participate in or observe equine-related activities such as horse shows and clinics.

I also know now how a typical club meeting runs, that it directly and strongly affects the Riding Team, and that the club is unique in this aspect.

So I just ended up asking my friend, who is a new club member, a few basic questions, including her opinions and thoughts about the club. She told me that she loves being involved so far and is looking forward to their many activities, specifically, the annual horse show and the Rolex. She says she wouldn't change anything about the club and that they are very inclusive.

I am going to need a follow-up interview because I am beginning to narrow my research topic. I want to pin-point the supporting role of the Equestrian club. I didn't know this until after I had had the interview, so those questions now are sort of irrelevant. Don't worry; there's more to come!
